- City of History, Sun, Sand and Sea!
Geraldton is
located on the Batavia Coast, 424km north of Perth. A leisurely
five hour drive, passing through varied and interesting landscapes
and scenery. With it's Mediterranean climate, city atmosphere and
sea side location, Geralton is a place to relax and visit before
continuing you travel to Kalbarri, Monkey Mia, Carnarvon or further
north.

A port
city, Geraldton is the administrative centre of the mid
west’s diverse industry base from a world leading
rock fishery to agriculture and gold production. Other
industries include mining, fishing, manufacturing, construction,
and tourism. Geraldton is the business hub of the mid west
region.

three million tonnes of grain and minerals are shipped from
the port each year. From the city foreshore and car parks,
huge ships can be seen entering the port from the open sea.

beaches are a favourite for aquatic activities and is a favoured location
for windsurfers and snorkelling.
Set between the Indian Ocean,
the Moresby ranges to the east and the Chapman
Valley

experience in Geraldton.
