will introduce you to the fascinating world of horses. Learn
how to care for these beautiful animals and participate in daily rides. You'll
learn: how
to feed and groom your horse, the commands to communicate with your
horse,
to tack up (saddle up) and to maintain tack,
the common riding styles (walk, trot, canter),
how to do your horse's feet (trim and file),
to identify medical injuries and how to treat them. Farmstay accommodation

Suitable for family, tour or school group bookings. Take one of our Canoe Safaris down the Murchison River. (Approximately 4 hours duration) Transport provided in air-conditioned 4WD vehicles. Paddle the lower reaches of the tranquil Murchison River and enjoy a bush breakfast and magnificent tranquil scenery. (To suit river & weather conditions.) Afternoon safaris by arrangement. the thrills of abseiling in the exciting Z-Bend Gorge amongst Kalbarri's
famous river gorges with the team at
Kalbarri Abseil. No experience is necessary for thrill seekers
taking on this sheltered site with top-class coaching from experienced
and trained instructors. In your session you will get five opportunities
to decend the rock face which includes two forward run-downs to get the
adrenolin pumping. By embarking on an abseil adventure not only
will you have the opportunity to experience this extreme sport that is
booming in popularity - but
you will also get to visit the famous "Nature's Window" at
the Loop for a photo opportunity and to learn some of the great histry

Family Entertainment Centre A family entertainment centre suitable for all ages. Trampolines, Mini Putt Golf Course, Amusement Arcade and Bike Hire provides activities for all ages. The Mini Putt Golf is a well designed course set in beautiful gardens. Eight trampolines are available, all set at ground level. Enjoy a cappuccino at the modern "alfresco setting" kiosk where you must try some of the home made cheese cake and icecream that is available in a wide range of flavours. [ Editors Note: After tasting the home made icecream and cheesecake made by the people at the Kalbarri Family Entertainment Centre - I recommend, if nothing else, visit the centre to taste these delicious delights.]
With experience skipper, Tim Woodcock at the helm providing a commentary about the local wildlife, history and points of interest, explore the ancient Murchison River with morning or afternoon tea provided or been, wines and spirits available from the licensed bar on board the River Queen. For a fun day out in the ocean, fishing or diving, Murchison Boat Hire has a 6 metre aluminum half cabin runabout complete with a 135hp motor and all safety gear including children's life jackets. Equipment

quality rods and reel hire available. With our local knowledge fishing
tips, supplied local maps and our services, your fishing or diving expidition
is off to a great start. A smaller 4.3 metre ocean and river boat is also
available.
Walktrails
and Hikes: [
Signs mark short walks from the carparks to the best view points. Longer
hikes are more
difficult . Caution: Due to the hazardous
terrain, groups undertaking long hikes should consist of at least 5 experienced
people. This is
the smallest group considered self-sufficient in an emergency. Overnight
groups must notify a park ranger before and after completing the hike.
All rubbish must be carried out of the gorge.] COASTAL TRAIL - Allow 3 to 5 hours to make this one-way 8 km hike. Arrange to be dropped off at Eagle Gorge and picked up at Natural Bridge. Enjoy the magnificent seascapes from the heights of the cliffs. AROUND THE LOOP - This 6 hour walk begins and ends at Nature's Window at the Loop. This trail is not marked but the easiest route is as follows. From Nature's Window, walk east along the cliff top to the first river bend, then down along the ledges and flood plain at water level to return to Nature's Window, keeping the river to your right at all times. Angle razor back dunes are the feature of this extraordinary spectacle
of nature. The locals call it the Sahara near
the ocean, visitors call it simply awesome. We progress from the nursery
dunes to the medium dunes and finish up at the adrenaline pumping Superbowl,
a 280 foot plus high sand crater. After this great natural high we go for
a cool off swim and snorkel in the safe “Lucky Bay” Lagoon.
There we find the southern most population of tropical fish and coral on
the WA mainland. It's a full day 4WD, Sandboarding and Snorkelling adventure.
