From the rugged beauty of the Zuytdorp cliffs to the calm waters and pristine beaches of the Denham foreshore, the area offers a range of scenery unequalled anywhere else in the world. The wildlife in the area is also abundant and very diverse, ranging from bird life, including Sea Eagles to marine life such as Whales, Dolphins and Turtles. The Zuytdorp cliffs give an amazing colour change performance during the evenings as the sun sets, that can only be seen from sea. After a busy days fishing it is definitely worthwhile staying at sea just a little bit longer to watch this spectacle or a dedicated tour is available to watch the amazing show that the cliffs produce.

Park - Aquaculture Park and Oceanarium Ocean Park, located in the pristine, Shark Bay World Heritage Listed precinct is by no means alone in its tourist appeal. There's plenty to see, all within a convenient day trip from Denham — Shark Bay's town site and accommodation facility. If its excitement you're after and a close encounter with nature's fierce creatures you must visit Ocean Park. This exciting tourist park offers a rarely captured insight into the natural habitat of Sharks, Sting Rays, Adult Pink Snapper and a variety of other sea creatures. Wooden bridges reach out to a shady island in a man-made lagoon, with fish swimming below. This is where the action is; The sharks and all the other fish in the lagoon are fed every day between 12 and 5pm. The Oceanarium provides a closer examination of various fish species, coral and sea grasses. Shark Bay Coaches and Tours visit Ocean Park during one of their tours.
Base yourself in Kalbarri and fly to Monkey Mia and Shark Bay. On the way take a scenic flight along the spectacular sea cliffs which rise to a staggering 900 feet at Womerangee Hill or see the expanse of the Zuytdorp Cliffs located to the north and south of Kalbarri. The 400 million year old gorges of the Murchison River provide a beautiful panorama of the landscape of the Kalbarri National Park. The view of "The Loop" from the air gives a complete picture of this meandering river, cutting its way though the ancient sandstones, as it makes its way to the sea.
